Boosting product quality and sales for a healthy snacks business in Portugal
In collaboration with a PhD researcher from Wageningen University, Netherlands, DynaMundo supported Frueat, an early-stage Porto-based company active in the healthy snacks market in Portugal and Spain. Through participatory model-building sessions, DynaMundo helped the management team better understand the drivers behind some of the recent undesired results in terms of market growth and product quality with systems thinking and system dynamics.
Through DynaMundo's participatory approach, we were able to get the management team and employees aligned to structure all their processes and issues in an integrated systems model.
DynaMundo is continuing to improve the model further with the goal of giving the management team a simulator, which they can use to test different pricing and advertising strategies as well as short and long term impacts on consumer groups ranging from new prospects to very loyal clients.
